What to do in Hraunsnef

On top of the Hraunsnef

For people, who like to hike up to the mountains, we can recommend to take a walk on the top of the Hraunsnef mountain, which is starting from hotel parking lot. All the way up is marked by wooden sticks with red colour every 10 meters and the path down is same as up. The lenght of the entire route is about 3 to 4 hours. When it is nice weather, from top is amazing view and you could even see Langjökull glacier. For more information do not hesitate to ask our staff in reception. 

Animals

In our farm we have all kind of animals, which are mostly friendly and like to be petted. They don't hesitate to be a part of your picture or selfie. Sometimes you can meet them even in front of your room or restaurant. Especially during the lamb season, we are proud to take lambs, who lost their mothers from all farms in our neighbourhood . So you can try and enjoy the real experience of feeding them.

Hot tubs

Our two hot tubs, that were made by owner are filled with natural spring hot water from mountains above. They are not only soothing and relaxing after a long trip, but also fun place for the whole family. Tubs are situated just few steps from rooms. For your comfort, bathrobes are provided in the room and in the reception you can ask for slippers. 

Fireplace

During a cold evenings we are recommending to sit down by a fireplace and enjoy a view on a dancing flames. Fireplace is hidden under the roof and covered around with rocks, so even if it is raining or snowing you can comfortely relax there. There are also a benches with blankets to warm you up.
